Homecoming is one of the first responsibilities of the school year for the Student Council.  We are responsible for picking the first graders who are the flower girl and crown bearer, distribute parade entry information to businesses, buy the gifts for the homecoming royalty, line up the parade, and put on the homecoming dance on Friday night after the football game.

Student Council is in charge of two Blood Drives each year.  The first is scheduled for November 2, 2016 and the second for the spring of 2017. This is a great opportunity to get students involved in donating blood and setting a life-long trend.  Any student that is 16 years and older can donate blood.  16 & 17 year olds will need a parent permission form signed before they can donate, but once a form is signed and on file they are able to give blood each time.  Parents and community members can also donate at our drives.  If you’d like to make an appointment, please call Mrs. Hubers at the school, 337-3391.

Our vending machine, which is stocked with healthy snacks, is available to students to use in the morning before school, during noon, and after school.  Keeping it stocked and running smoothly is the Student Council’s responsibility.

We are also planning a few new ventures.  More information will be forthcoming.
