The Platte-Geddes School District was awarded the BeKipp Foundation AED grant.
BeKipp Foundation Info: Kipp Kinsley was an exceptional triathlete who died unexpectedly of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in 2018. The BeKipp Foundation was set up to remember Kipp,and raise awareness of SCA. The foundation's motto is: Be Sweet, Be Humble, Be Kind, Be Passionate, Be Driven, Be Kipp. The AED donations are a way for Kipps parents, Jon and Shelly, to honor their son and raise awareness for SCA.
The Foundation provides lifesaving tools such as Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) to not-for-profit organizations, schools, and youth teams. They also support youth triathlon development.
