The "Good News Call" this week went out to Gunner Werkmeister. Gunner noticed that Mrs. Pazour needed help with a task that another student did not complete so he happily offered to do the job. Our positive affirmation this week was “I help others” and Gunner did just that! He noticed a job that needed to be done, and even though it was not his job to do, he offered to help and do the job anyway. Thank you, Gunner, for being a Happy Helper to others!

Platte-Geddes Schools will resume for a regular scheduled school day tomorrow, Friday, January 6, 2023. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Break!
The girls and boys doubleheader scheduled for Thursday, January 5th in Corsica between Platte-Geddes and Corsica-Stickney has been postponed and is rescheduled for next Monday, January 9th at Corsica.

The junior high boys will not play at Corsica on Monday as they have games scheduled with Chamberlain here at home.

Platte-Geddes School will be closed on Thursday, January 5th. After consulting with the DOT and checking roads, the ice/snow packed highways, impassable gravel roads, and drifting make the conditions far too risky for our students and staff. We are optimistic that conditions will improve enough tomorrow to allow for school on Friday.

The girls basketball game scheduled for Tuesday January 3rd here in Platte vs Corsica-Stickney has been moved to Thursday January 5th and will now be played as part of a double header with the boys at Corsica.

The 2 junior high boys games will still be played on Thursday starting at 4:00 in the Corsica elementary gym.
Attention all 6-12 parents/students due to school cancellations last week we will have a regular Monday and Tuesday schedule.

The previously released semester test schedule is invalid. Semester tests will be held during the students regularly scheduled class periods.
The wrestling tournament scheduled for tomorrow in Plankinton has been canceled.
The Boys Basketball Game at Burke scheduled for Thursday, December 15 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 17, 2023 as a doubleheader.
The Girls Basketball Game at Gregory scheduled for today, has also been rescheduled as a doubleheader on Monday, January 16, 2023.
The Hoop Shoot scheduled for Saturday, December 17 in Winner has been postponed. We will inform you of the new date when it is available. Thank you.
